Music therapy is the clinical and
evidence-based use of music to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed music therapist. In other words; music therapy is the use of music to help clients achieve goals that are not necessarily music related.
Art therapy is the process of clients, facilitated by the art therapist, using art media, creativity, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. A goal in art therapy is to improve or restore a client’s functioning and his or her sense of personal well-being.
C0-Treatment is a therapeutic approach that is based around a client receiving concurrent treatment from two or more therapists from two or more different disciplines. Co-treatment can be a useful approach for certain individuals or groups, depending on their specific needs and goals.
